Participation in the voting for the “FARM MACHINE 2024 – Audience Choice Award” by Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag GmbH (organizer) is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.

Participation in the voting is independent of the competition and includes other conditions of participation. The conditions of participation for the competition can be found here.

1) Subject of the voting

The subject of the voting is the award in the category “FARM MACHINE 2024 – Audience Choice Award”. Every two years, trade editors select the innovations in agricultural technology in 12 categories. The winners of 12 categories are selected by a panel of experts, while users vote online for their favorites in the 13th category, the “FARM MACHINE 2024 – Audience Choice Award”. For this purpose, there will be online voting on the homepage www.farmmachine.eu from 09.10.2023 (from 10 a.m.) to 08.11.2023 (until 11:59 p.m.). Users can vote for each machine once a day via online voting. The machine that has received the most votes after technical evaluation at the end of the voting will win the prize in this category. The result will be announced on 14.11.2023 (from 8 p.m.) at https://www.farmmachine.eu/.

2) Procedure of the voting

The duration of the voting extends from 09.10.2023 (from 10 am) to 08.11.2023 (until 23:59). Within this period, users will be given the opportunity to participate in the voting online.

3) Eligible participants

Natural persons are eligible to participate. The personal data must be true and may lead to the exclusion of the participant (voting person) in case of misuse. The participant is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data to be filled in. Upon request, the participant must prove the accuracy of this information beyond doubt.

4) Participation

Participation in the voting is free of charge. Participation is only possible within the participation period. Votes received after the closing date will not be taken into account in the evaluation. The participant assures that the e-mail he/she has entered is correct and only accessible to him/her. In order to participate in the voting, it is necessary to vote (by entering the e-mail address and subsequent confirmation) for at least one of the machines shown, as well as entering a valid e-mail address. Multiple voting is possible, but only once every 24 hours.

5) Exclusion from participation

The organizer reserves the right to exclude further persons from participation in addition to the group of persons named in item 3, provided that an exclusion is objectively justified. An objective reason exists in particular if it becomes apparent that a participant violates the prohibition of multiple participation in Clause 4 or violates the conditions of participation in any other way. Persons who obstruct or disrupt the proper conduct of the voting, e.g. by manipulating or attempting to manipulate the participation process, the game and/or the pages and/or violating the rules of the game and/or otherwise attempting to influence the voting in an unfair and/or dishonest manner, in particular by disrupting, threatening, harassing employees/software of the organizer or other participants, may also be excluded from participation. Further sanctions and measures (damages, criminal charges) are expressly reserved in this respect.

6) Termination of the voting

The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the voting without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the voting from proceeding as planned.

7) Data protection

The organizer undertakes not to disclose any submitted data of the participants to third parties. The organizer collects, stores and processes the mail address of the persons participating in the voting exclusively for the purpose of conducting the voting “FARM MACHINE 2024 – Audience Choice Award”. After the end of the online voting, the mail addresses will be deleted (link to: https://www.dlv.de/datenschutz.html).

8) Applicable law

Questions or complaints in connection with the voting must be addressed to Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag GmbH. The voting of the organizer is exclusively subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

9) Severability clause

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the rest of these Terms and Conditions of Participation. In place of the invalid provision, the legally permissible provision that comes closest in economic terms to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same shall apply in the event of a loophole in these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
